I figured it would be simple to pair it and all would be good. Turns out it was not so easy, the iPad could see the keyboard but during pairing\u00a0would indicate there was an error in pairing and to verify that the keyboard was turned on and visible. Of course I did not have the manual anymore so a little searching on the internet and I found the <a href=\"https:\/\/motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com\/ci\/fattach\/get\/452031\/1340825224\/redirect\/1\/session\/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xNDA1NDU3MjM0L3NpZC9CMkNsa25abA==\/filename\/BTkeyboard_eng_SP_FR_14620001a.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">manual online<\/a> and the answer. You have to hold the V-A-R keys down on the keyboard while pressing the power button (keep holding the keys down until the keyboard is fully on). This sequence of keys allowed the iPad to see the keyboard and prompt for a pin during pairing.
