How to stop the iPhone screen from auto-rotating

How many times have you been surfing on your iPhone on a lazy Sunday morning still in bed, then every time you shift the screen rotates and you have to lean the iPhone again to get the right orientation. I’ve done this countless times and have come to the conclusion that I rarely need to use the iPhone in a landscape mode. I have for that reason locked it in portrait mode. To do this, double click the circle button twice quickly. This will bring up a single line of program icons on the bottom, slide your finger left to right and it’ll bring up new icons. The furthest left one is now an arrow circle with a lock in it. Tap that icon and it will lock your orientation and you’ll now see a lock symbol at the top of your phone. Repeat this same procedure to unlock the orientation.
