Every now and then it’s quite useful to know how fast your internet connection is. In one situation, a client was wondering why their internet was so slow when they had a fast cable internet connection. Instead of 20+ mbps downloads, the speed test showed they were getting in the range of 4-5 mbps. Upon some general questions and discussion, it was brought out that the internet connection was shared with the basement renters. A little more research then revealed that the renters watched a lot of streaming movies from a well known online company.
